Grief Support Groups
At Walk Intuit, we believe that grief is not a problem to solve—but a process to honor. Rooted in our trauma-informed, spiritually attuned, and clinically grounded model of care, our grief groups offer age-appropriate, somatic, and relational spaces for navigating the complex terrain of loss.
Whether you are a child, teen, young adult, or adult, we provide a safe, compassionate circle to process grief, reconnect with your inner resources, and move toward healing.
Child, Youth, & Young Adult Grief Groups

Youth Grief Groups: Ages 5–17
Our No Cost Youth Grief Program supports children and teens who have lost a loved one to death. Each group is led by a licensed clinician with expertise in child development and grief-informed care. We combine therapeutic play, expressive arts, psychoeducation, and group sharing to help young people name and express their grief in a developmentally appropriate way.
What To Expect:
Somatic (body-oriented) grief processing through movement and art
Storytelling and memory-sharing practices
Emotional regulation and expression techniques
Peer support and age-specific coping tools
Clinician-conducted progress tracking at intake, midpoint, and final session
Open to children and youth who have experienced the death of a loved one. Groups are divided by age group.
Young Adult Grief Group: Ages 18–25
Grieving in early adulthood comes with unique challenges: navigating identity, independence, and major life transitions—all while holding profound loss. Our No Cost Young Adult Grief Group creates a reflective, trauma-informed space where participants can process grief from the death of a loved one through somatic practices, creative expression, and peer connection.
What To Expect:
A supportive, virtual peer group facilitated by a licensed therapist
Trauma-informed exploration of personal and collective grief
Somatic (body-oriented), creative, and relational tools for processing
Gentle structure with space for self-expression and community-building
Progress assessments are conducted at the beginning, midpoint, and end
This group is open to individuals ages 18–25 who have experienced the death of someone close.

Men’s Grief Group
Grief affects everyone—but for men, the path through it is often shaped by cultural norms that discourage vulnerability, emotional expression, and asking for help. The Men’s Grief Group offers a safe, confidential space where adult men can begin to tell the truth of their loss, reconnect with themselves, and move through grief in a way that aligns with their lived experience.

Our Approach & Group Information
Rooted in Compassion. Grounded in Care.
Walk Intuit is a trauma-informed mental health collective committed to delivering culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, and somatically integrated grief care. We walk alongside clients of all ages—intuitively, clinically, and relationally—offering therapeutic environments where loss can be witnessed, expressed, and processed in community.
All grief support groups are guided by Walk Intuit’s core values:
Embrace: Each person is met exactly where they are, without pressure to “move on” or perform healing.
Embody: Grief is held in the body, and healing involves body, spirit, and story.
Empower: We nurture self-trust, resilience, and meaningful connection.
Our model honors grief as a natural response to loss, not a pathology—and creates space for healing that is slow, relational, and somatically attuned.
Outcomes-Driven, Developmentally Attuned
Walk Intuit’s group programs are clinically structured and outcomes-informed, ensuring that each group supports both the emotional needs of participants and the accountability required by funders and partner organizations.
All participants complete brief, age-appropriate self-report assessments at the beginning, midpoint, and conclusion of the group. These tools track measurable change in:
Emotional expression and grief-related distress
Felt safety, body awareness, and self-regulation
Peer connection and capacity for meaning-making
Use of adaptive coping strategies and internal resources
This outcome-tracking approach is designed to support clinical insight, improve quality of care, and demonstrate quantifiable impact—particularly critical for youth and underserved populations, where access to specialized grief care is limited and long-term support is often fragmented.
We prioritize accessibility and evidence of impact to meet the needs of our community and funding partners alike.
Insurance & Payment Information
Child, Youth, and Young Adult Groups are NO COST.
Adult Grief Groups vary in length and cost, please contact for specific information regarding current available groups. Walk Intuit accepts most major insurance plans. Please contact us to confirm your coverage and copay.
For those paying out of pocket, we offer self-pay options, including payment in full or on a weekly basis.
➡️ Please note: payment is required for each week of the group cycle, regardless of attendance, as enrollment reserves a dedicated spot in a small, intentionally limited-capacity cohort.
